Netherwood is situated on the outskirts of the small village of Saundersfoot, in beautiful countryside, lying next to the rugged coast of the Pembrokeshire National Park, in Wales.
Pembrokeshire has one of the lowest crime rates in the United Kingdom. The school is housed in a country mansion surrounded by 13.5 acres of safe wooded grounds and is 1 km from the beach. It is conveniently away from the hustle and bustle of city life, yet Cardiff and Swansea are within easy reach along the M4 motorway. The area around Saundersfoot is a popular tourist destination, with a host of sandy beaches and many impressive coastal features. Local facilities have been enhanced of late with the appearance of more and more leisure parks and other facilities, including the now famous Oakwood Leisure Park.
Though it is well west of London, it is easily reached via the M4 motorway, making Heathrow and Gatwick Airports quite convenient for the School, with many of its international pupils now opting to use Cardiff Airport, which is even closer. It's much easier than you might think to get away from the chaos of city life!
