As a stage in the development of Netherwood, this is the 'icing on the cake'. In reality, it represents an additional and totally separate platform. The teachers in this area have been appointed on the basis of their qualifications and proven experience.

Students will be expected to have passed with a 'B' grade at G.C.S.E. level any relevant subjects which they wish to continue studying at 'A' level. In this respect, the School will be offering 'AS' level, 'A2' level and A.V.C.E. courses. The choice of subject will be entirely up to the student. 'Key Skills' will also be offered in 'Communication', 'Numeracy' and 'I.T.'. Progress will again be closely monitored at this stage, by the Director of Sixth Form. Thus a firm academic stand will be taken to ensure that every student reaches their full potential. Pass rates are not expected to be lower than 100%.

The Sixth Formers will be treated as young ladies and young gentlemen. They will wear the jacket chosen especially for them by fellow students, with a tie that has been designed specifically for Sixth Formers. Sixth Form Boarders will be housed in twin bedded rooms, with en-suite facilities, in the Coppet Hall Beach Hotel, which lies within yards of Coppet Hall Beach, adjacent to the village of Saundersfoot. They will be supervised and cared for on this site by a member of the school staff.

Careers advice will continue to be given and strong contacts will be maintained with Universities and Colleges in the United Kingdom, so that our students can progress through to Undergraduate studies. It is also possible that, owing to its strong international reputation with Universities, the International Baccalaureate will be introduced, in addition to the courses already mentioned.
